Straw Sneakers

by

So many of you know I am no longer an ATLien, I've been living in NYC for a couple months now and I am loving it. So much history, culture, and energy in the city. I am inspired by new things everyday, everywhere you go there's something to do and something to see. Life in NYC to say the least has been a huge transformation, by far the biggest adjustment is all this darn walking!!! My shoe wardrobe has made a dramatic change. My catchy little title "Life in Beverly heels" is nearly non-existent lol. I've turned into a bit of a sneaker head. I had no choice there is absolutly just too much walking here. No car, only trains, busses, and occasional car service. That's left me with having to completely switch up my shoe game. Now I shop with sneakers and flats in mind. Everything I wear I think twice ...

Blue’s Cruise

by

Major blue vibes with this look. I love a good tailored pant and you already know my obsession with off the shoulder tops. Was so lucky enough to catch this beautiful backdrop, who doesn't love cute old school cars and cool bikes. This look I love because I feel its very versatile, could easily be a cute brunch outfit with girls, but still romantic enough for a day debt, and at the same time business casual enough for a day at the office. This is why I sometimes feel all outfits are not created equal lol. There's nothing wrong with being strategic with your wardrobe. I am a firm believer in smart shopping, buying pieces that can literally that can be interchanged for ay occasion. This look is all about mixing the highs with the lows. Found these pants and shirt on sale. The trousers were only $20 from Zara. As for ...

Midi & Me

by

Midi length, off the shoulder, and all white; you know I'm on board lol. Absolutely love this dress from Chicwish, not to mention how freaking affordable they are. Was so excited to do a collaboration with a company that has quality pieces and great prices. I always try to share with my fashionistas places I actually like, wear, etc.   As for this midi it's a pretty good length, for all my tall girls it runs a little long so I think you'll love it. As for my short girls its a bit on the long side so hemming may be in order or just wearing it like a maxi would totally be doable. I paired the dress with some throwbacks of mine lol, I get soooooo many compliments on these Reed Krakoff sandals. This brand is so unique and stylish, also another brand I feel are pretty affordable as far as  designer footwear is ...

Polka Dot Boutique

by

So I'm here with another boutique review I think you guys are going to enjoy. Found this southern based online boutique called Polka Dot Boutique and fell in love. Very unique pieces, the fit was great, and the quality was amazing. Happy Shopping loves!!! (see below for all item details) Loved this red hot number, fit like a glove (although a little spanx would've hurt) but I still tried to rock it to my best abilities lol. The bust area fit perfectly no need to wear a bra, but I definitely would only recommend this dress to the not so blessed up top women. However, I think actually wearing a sexy black lace bra would have given it a little more of an edge. This hue of blue is so vibrant and the pattern I just fell in love with. Rompers to me are like the best thing ...

My First Trip To Paris

by

Where do I start. How do I began. This place ahhhh no words!!! Seriously, I never knew I could fall in love with a city. Everything about it is so rich and decadent, and sooooo much history behind everything. I was so inspired by so much I saw; the people, the buildings, even the food. There's a certain authenticity about Paris that I loved. Everything seem to be in its natural state untouched and unbothered. I loved that, it made me rethink a lot that I do in my life now. We can be influenced by so much in the world but it's important to keep our authenticity. Look #1: Asos - Fuchsia Midi Swing Dress (similar) Look #2: Storets - Jordyn Ruched Wrap Blouse (similar) Look #3: Storets - Detachable Tie Bloom Blouse (similar) Look #4: Armani Exchange - Denim Dress & Dress Shorts (similar) Look ...

The Shoulder Show

by

Soooo I'm pretty sure my off the shoulder obsession is getting out of hand and this point but I don't care I'm hooked and I love it. With that said its about time I break down the science to this trend. That's right!!!! It's level to this lol! First off we have the actual off the shoulder top. This look can be a little tricky. You have to actually get use to the shirt sitting on your shoulders. The look can be worn with a bra to give more uniqueness but ideally no bra or strapless with this look. Then you have the open shoulders top. So there is an actual shirt and sleeve here but the sleeve it cut out and shows off the shoulders. I call this the beginner top for people wanting to ease into completely off the shoulder trend. Next we have a similar look to above ...

Pink Pony

by

I want to first say I am one of the girliest girls I know but for some reason I literally run away from the color pink lol. For whatever reason I usually never gravitate towards the color. But this set I couldn't help myself, before I knew it, I bought it and there I was head to toe in pink. I love a good short set, its sporty but can still be styled up. This set is from Zara. It's a faux suede but has a lot of perforation so it's not too warm. It runs pretty true to size. I matched it with my favorite babies at the moment my Alaia studded heels and my Gucci mini. But the most important thing about this look is probably my ponytail, I can't tell you how much I love getting this style done to my hair I literally transform lol. Confidence gets on ...

Silk and the City

by

Wearing slip silk dresses in public sign me up lol! I am so into this trend right now I feel like its so daring and feminine. I'm probably really late to the color but I just recently discovred my love for the color olive and as you can tell I went completely overboard with it. The slip dress has been trending some time and it doesn't seem to be going anywhere anytime soon, if anything it's been evolving. Not just a sexy night on the town look, women are wearing slip dresses as day dresses and sometimes with sneakers. This is what I love about fashion when something you think can't be or shouldn't be done you can do it because this is fashion and in my option there there are no rules. I wore my Zara slip dress with high heels of course and a satin TopShop bomber. But this ...

Fitting In Fitness

by

Ok so the holidays are just about over as far as the summer goes, and I know I've personally smothered everything from chicken to shrimp in some type of barbecue sauce lol. What can I say I love food and I don't think I am alone. I know there are several solutions, remedies, etc. to lose weight or stay healthy but at the end of the day I feel like we have an even harder time figuring out what route to take for fitness before we to even get stated. Needless to say it can be very intimidating. Some do yoga, some lift weighs, then others leave it to cardio. My issue is scheduling time for fitness, in my case I'll make time to buy cute gym clothes but don't make time to get in the gym and wear them. However, there is hope for me after all, its so simple, so ...

Street Chic

by

If only I could wear cut offs and high heels in my every day life lol...but it's just not a reality these days due to work I am business casual or three piece suited on a daily. So when I have the opportunity to play dress up I am all over it. I love, love, love this rock and roll tie-dye tee trend right now. It's so fresh and edgy, anything I can wear that makes feel like even more of a bad ass I'm doing it :-). I did my tie-dye shirt with some cute cut offs from H&M's coachella collection and my Pina Colada heels from Aquazzura. After adding my Prada mini bag the look was rock and roll history lol. Try this really cool the tie-dye trend you'll love it. Happy Shopping loves!!! (see below for all item details) I got my cute tee from a local designer from my ...
