Blue Collar Chic (Dynamite Clothing)

by

If you know me, you know how much I love collared button up shirts. There's nothing like a crisp button up with a pair of jeans. Anytime I get to mix it up I am all for it. That's exactly what I did with this look. Traded in my usual white button up for a striped one and instead of a pair jeans, I rocked a jean skirt. What I love most about this look is how easily chic it is. Anyone can put this together and remix it to their own individual style. My style naturally is to show off my shoulders lol. Becuase if there is one thing I like more then collared shirts it's showing off my shoulders in collared shirts. I'm still going strong with one of my fav sites at the moment Dynamite Clothing. Both pieces are from their site and even better they are now on ...

My Blogging Journey with Collectively Inc.

by

I have had quite the blogging journey thus far. What started as an outlet from my law firm 9-5 or should I say 8 -8 lol turned into a blogging dream come true. Never would I have ever imagined getting my blog to where it is now. Yes, I have always loved fashion and yes, I've always had a knack for writing. Still, in no way did I think I would be able to reach people with my blog. But in just three years I have had so many opportunities and have made so many connections because of it. By far one the best opportunities I've had is working with influencer agency Collectively Inc. Being a newbie to blogging I was pretty much learning as I go. Not really knowing the ends and outs, and especially not knowing the business side of it. With a background in law, other then fashion ...

Summer Love (Dynamite Clothing)

by

Spring has sprung and summer is right around the corner. It's time to bare those legs in cute minis, dress up in beautiful colors and prints, and of course enjoy the warm weather. You can definitely expect me in all types of denim this summer whether it's crop jeans, cut off shorts, or a fitted mini. My go to look will always include some form of denim and today's look is no exception. I'm rocking a cute denim mini and floral blouse both from a site called Dynamite Clothing. When I found the site I was instantly attracted to aesthetic, some what minimalistic but still very trendy. I've been wanting a denim mini for a while, and the one I found on Dynamite was perfect. Now on to this adorable blouse, I couldn't say no, the neck detail caught my eye and I had to have it. Luckily, everything ran ...

Although it's been said many times and many ways lol, you can never go wrong with a Little Black Dress. From sleeveless to long sleeve, mini or knee-length, a LBD is a must-have in any women's closet. It's something about a black dress that makes you feel feminine and mysterious. The dress I'm rocking in today's look is no exception. I found this gem in a Texas boutique called Mod Chic Couture. From the price to the quality this dress was definitely a score. The fit was perfect and I was obsessed with the lace detail, so you know it had to come home with me. What I really loved about Mod Chic Couture was the unique pieces they carried. That's the beauty of shopping at smaller boutiques, you just never know what one of a kind pieces you'll find. So head over to Mod Chic Couture today and get ...

The Iconic Haus

by

Hey guys, spring is here so you know what that means, we can finally bear arms...That's right t-shirt season is upon us. I'm sure any fashionista will tell, you can't go wrong with jeans and a t-shirt, and they would be right!!! Whether it's v-neck, scoop neck, graphics, or tunic style. You really can't go wrong with a classic tee. Today's look I decided to wear the t-shirt in a less conventional way. A bit of a fashion risk but worth it every time. Luckily, I found this really cute t-shirt site called Iconic Haus. What I love about the brand is the message behind it. I feel like if you're going to wear something on your shirt it should mean something. This website is about living an "Iconic" life. I paired my Iconic Tee with a satin dress, light bomber, and comfy Stan Smith sneakers. This look was definitely ...

Festively Fringed

by

Soooooo todays look is quite festive to say the least lol. Lots of fringe, lots of feathers, and lots of black. I like to have fun in fashion, everyday should be like playing dress up in your own closet. This look is definitely a little fashion fairy tale. When I saw these pants at Topshop there was no way I was going home without them. They were so different and unique I had to have them. With all the fringe going on with the jeans you would think I would've stopped there, nope not me I kept the trends going. I added a cute feather jacket from BCBG and this cute little beanie I actually found on Amazon. I think I was able to get away with all this fringe and feathers because I decided to keep the look one neutral color. All black everything is always a good idea, ...

The Metallic Mini

by

Been in a mini mood lately, despite the cold NYC weather lol, it definitely hasn't stopped me from showing off the stems. This time around, I'm showing them off in a little metallic mini. Metallic is very trendy right now and not necessarily for the fashion forward so don't be discouraged. The trick to wearing metallics is starting with a statement piece. Whether it's your shoes, a belt, a purse, and in this case a skirt. It will be a funky but fashionable addition to your look that's so worth the risk. I wore my metallic mini with a leather biker jacket from Zara, my new Louis booties, and a basic tee. Easy does it with this look because the skirt will shine and do all the work!!! So give metallic a try no matter what piece you decide just rock it with confidence. Happy Shopping loves!!! (outfit details below) Thank you for visiting. Please ...

EcoTools Makeup Brushes

by

Hey guys, as promised more beauty goodies coming your way, I'm so thrilled to announce my sponsored partnership with Mirum Shopper for EcoTools makeup brushes. I have to admit, I am no beauty expert, I would actually consider myself a beginner when it comes to applying makeup. Everyday I'm picking up different techniques and tips and learning as I go. So it's definitely a plus when you can find products that make the beauty process a tad bit easier. When I discovered EcoTools at ULTA it was literally a makeup dream come true lol. What attracted me to these EcoTools brushes was the Eye Brush Set and the fact that the brushes were labeled, for beauty newbie like me I couldn't pass that up. In addition to labeling on the brushes they are super soft, I'm a powder makeup girl and I feel like the brushes picks up my powder foundations and ...

The Fuzz

by

My first New York winter has been brutal but I have been up for the challenge. I've said it once and I'll say it again, LAYERING is your friend. When it comes to layering warm fuzzy jackets definitely don't hurt and especially if there is as cute as this one in my look today. I found this baby on Nordstrom and thought it was adorable. So many cute colors and styles it was hard to choose, and to be honest if this weather doesn't let up soon I can definitely see myself buying another in a different color. In this look, I paired the Charlotte Simone jacket with some Topshop jeans and my fav thigh highs from Stuart Weiztman. From there I added a cute Gucci chain purse, some stunner shades, and a cute felt cap to complete the look. It's a pretty simple outfit but the big fur jacket makes it fun and ...
