Pushing Pastels

by

Color me crazy, but I love mixing it up. This look is a direct result of that. Light pinks and hot oranges, who would have thought. Apparently me lol! I'm no stranger to taking chances when it comes to fashion, and often the risk is always worth it. It's also not about how much you spent on the look either. For example, these pants I got from Zara years ago (thank goodness they still fit) had been just sitting in my closet. As for my top, I randomly found it on Amazon. So it's not about the price tag, it's really about making a look your own and being confident in your ensemble decisions. Happing shopping loves!!! (outfit details below)   Thank you for visiting. Seaside Medical Technologies: Response Gel

by

Hey guys, I'm back with another beauty post. This time I'm talking about a secret weapon I recently discovered from Seaside Medical Technologies, it's their post-traumatic response gel. Instead of focusing on beauty, this post is actually to promote taking care of your skin. I personally try to stick with organic products when it comes to my skin and this gel is premium organic. Makeup is amazing of course, but having great skin as your foundation is always a plus. Seaside Medical Tech response gel has definitely helped me come pretty darn close to flawless skin. Luckily, I don't get breakouts that often, I usually just breakout when I'm stressed. My problem areas tend to be my forehead and my lower cheeks. I was having a breakout recently, and I saw this gel advertised and decided to try it. I started off using it every other day and now I'm using it every couple of days. ...

Summer Stripes

by

Summer may almost be over, but summer dresses are still bringing the heat. If you know me by now, you know I am a dress fanatic. I guess it's just the girlie girl in me. I'm always wanting to be frilly and feminine. So dressing for the summer is a no brainer, I love a good sun dress. The one I'm rocking here is from one of my fav sites Shein. This site has everything you need, fast shipping, and the prices are unbelievable. For example, this dress was only $21.00. I've ordered from them a couple of times and I only had to go a size up a few times. But everything else ran true to size. So head on over for your sun dress now because the summer isn't over yet!!! Jumpsuit Pursuit

by

They say diamonds are a girl's best friend, but I think jumpsuits are too lol. They are the perfect alternative to a dress and can be very versatile. I also think jumpsuits add a little flare to any look. Like this one, I am wearing from Romwe. I had a lot of fun putting this look together. At first sight of the jumpsuit, I considered wearing it without anything under it, but I decided to add a stripe top underneath. This is a great piece so either way would be a fashion win. Depending on your work environment this could definitely be an outfit for work, or for a nice brunch get together, or even just to run a few errands. Can't really go wrong with the right jumpsuit. Hurry over to Romwe and get yours before they're all gone. Happy shopping loves!!! Thank you for visiting. Please comment below. What's life like ...

BBD: Backless Black Dress

by

I never met a little black dress I didn't like, especially when it's backless. In my opinion, the LBD can do no wrong. It can be work-wear, formal wear, and even worn casually. Today's look is definitely a casual option of the LBD. This dress is from Romwe; It's black, short, and backless. Leaving you to, dress it up or down. I rocked my dress with sneakers to give an athleisure look. But I could have easily worn this dress with a cute pair of heels. That's the thing we love so much about little black dresses there are so many options. You just have to tap into your style and figure out which one works for you. So now it's your turn, head on over to Romwe and get a little black backless of your own. Happy shopping loves!!! (outfit details below) Thank you for visiting. Please comment below. What's life ...

Patterns On Pretty

by

Sometimes you come across a dress you just can't live without. I actually remember when I found this dress. I was planning to attend Art Basel in Miami and I couldn't find anything to wear. I searched high and low online and nothing. Then I tried one more site, it's called The Outnet. It was in that instant when I saw this dress, I thought that's it my search is over. I purchased it and prayed the size would fit me because it was the last one left. I got the dress in a small, it was a little tight but nonetheless wearable. I rocked it very well at Art Basel and I've been loving it ever since. You'll love it too, get yours here. Happy shopping loves!!! (outfit details below) Thank you for visiting. Please comment below. Suit Up

by

To all my nine to fivers, entrepreneurs, and all around go getters; this edgy suit post is for you. If you're like me, you work and play in two different worlds. So it's pretty cool when you can find a suit that is right in between the two. For me I think the fit is so important when it comes to suiting. So that's a good place to start when choosing your suit. From there find a suit with some flare. Maybe ruffle sleeves, or a print or pattern, anything to add jzazz up your look. This suit I found on Asos was the perfect combo, both great fit and the jacket is amazing. I also loved the color of this look, it's different from the regular tan, black, or navy choices. I'm no stranger to suits so when I found one as unique as this I couldnt pass it ...

Work In Pastels

by

Time to spice up the work wardrobe. We're all working women so expanding our work wardrobe is important. There are so many pieces of clothing we can wear to work depending on your environment. There are slacks, skirts, dresses, and jumpsuits. Spicing those up starts with the color, this alone can transform an outfit. After getting bright and colorful pieces, depending on the season you then have to figure out what fabrics work for you. From there, if you really want to get fancy start mixing fabrics and patterns. Here, I paired the prettiest patterned Versace shirt I got in the Bahamas a couple of years ago with a pleated midi skirt. But not just any pleated skirt, it is purple and extremely sparkly :-) Yes, I know this is definitely pushing the work wardrobe limit but it all depends on your work community. If you are able to go for ...

All The Frills

by

So it's safe to say this is probably the frilliest outfit you've ever seen lol and I am totally fine with that. From this amazing top by Icons Closet to probably the most perfect jeans, Topshop has ever made. With all that said, I'm completely unapologetic about all the extra details going on here. Covered in fringe and frill I couldn't be more obsessed with this look. With an outfit this busy, the color and fit are very important. Becuase it all black, the outfit looks a little more subtle. The fit also helps, when you want to wear something as busy as this you don't need any extra fabric. I think the moral of this outfit story is be fearless with what you wear. And if that's not incentive enough the top and jeans are now on sale check it out below. Happy shopping loves!!! (outfit details below) ...
