Had the pleasure of attending an amazing fashion show yesterday. This was a true fashion experience from the installations, to the presentation, down to the staging. The atmosphere really brought the line to life. The entire setting made you feel apart of the brand. I love when designers have an actual story behind their brand its easier for a consumer or admirer to understand every piece and its significance. The theme of this show was F*ck War, which they flawlessly executed by creating a war zone inside of a warehouse. The show brought out all the who's who of Atlanta fashion world. From other designers , to artist, and even athletes.
Now lets talk about the collection Cease + Desist S/S 16 was a mixture of grunge and luxury. From its zipper adorned jackets, to its detailed ripped sweaters, I loved everything about this collection. I left this show actually inspired, in my opinion thats how fashion should make you feel. Seeing the collection made me think of mens clothing differently, its not often you come across a brand that has pieces made for both men and women. Cease + Desist however managed to find a balance and did so effortlessly might I add. My shirt for example was a man shirt that I wore for a dress, C+D pieces make sense and don't take much to make it come together. Their items stand out and are hot all on their own. I cannot wait for the Spring line to be available I definitely have my eye on one particular jacket :-)
