Ok so today's look I'd be lying if I said I didn't feel like a badass lol. I took the leather trend and draped all over. Leather jacket, leather jeans, and a fur stole; I can live in this outfit. Everything I wore here are probably all of my favorite fashion trends. I love wearing all black and especially if its leather. I also love furs, this one in particular I had custom made to attach to any jacket or coat. Lastly, I love all gold accessories, so bringing all my fav things together black, leather, and gold its safe to say I had a blast with this shoot. Not to mention the location I chose for this look was an adventure in itself. Currently residing in Atlanta, I've always enjoyed the rich civil rights history this city has to offer. Luckily I was able to visit the newly built Civil Rights Museum which is located in the the heart of Atlanta's downtown area. The museum was amazing, I really enjoyed not just the culture but how interactive the experience was. So overall this day was a great one, rocking all my fav things and making unforgettable experiences in it.
Right outside the museum was this beautiful mural with quotes from famous activist and philanthropist throughout history. I could not leave the museum without snapping some pics. Now as for my look, there really isn't much to say, everything I am wearing is from Zara lol. This leather jacket I purchased last year. Its a little thin, but nothing a bit of layering can't solve. The crisp button up I wore underneath also from Zara. I have to give you a little history about me and button ups. Back in college I had a button up obsession. I wore them with everything, and not just any button ups I particularly loved white and crisp button ups. I broke the habit around graduation but you can still catch me in a button up every once in a while. As for this biker chic jeans, I purchased them the year before last, and can you believe it was months before I actually wore them. Something about the length I just couldn't come to terms with. But after eventually trying them out its hard to not wear them everyday. These jeans are everything you want in a moto jean. I pretty sure they are sold out of this pair in particular but Zara I'm sure has some type of variation of this jean.
Now let's get creative and talk about this fur stole that is some what of a DIY project. When I purchased this stole it was a attached to a Alice & Olivia cardigan. Luckily the fur was removable from the sweater so there was absolutely no damages. Next, I took the fur to my cleaners and had her to add on buttons as well as hooks. This way I could attach this fur to whatever coat I chose. Now my closet looks like I have fur on all my jackets when in reality its just one stole being swapped out. Great trend tip and your piggy bank will thank you. Furs are much cheaper then what they use to be but still would be a splurge to have a different fur for every coat and jacket.
These fun flash tattoos I purchased from Neiman Marcus they are from Lulu DK. As soon as this trend hit the scene they were an instant hit. I myself was a little late to join the band wagon lol but I did get a finally purchase a pair. I bought them for a recent trip to Miami and have been hooked ever since.
Last up are these beautifully detailed Giuseppe Zanotti booties. The zippers on this shoe I just love, Giuseppe is known for his bold details on his shoes and these boots are no exception. I purchased these earlier in the year last year and I actually don't wear them as much as I would like because of the flop over style I am very choosy on what I like to pair them with. However, they are one of my favs I thank the shoes gods for them lol.
